I'm in the midst of finalizing a workshop presentation on social media for nonprofits to be given at Cal State Fullerton's Summer School for Nonprofits. It has gotten me thinking a great deal about why Twestival, Lance Armstrong and even Ronald McDonald House have found great success using social media. (They're personal, about social at their core, high value and engaging.)
It's also triggered the desire to let more people know about the charities I support. And as luck would have it, Mashable posted an article on how to use social media to support your charities today. It's worth a read.
